Dear Friends of Abacus,

2020 has been a year of adaptation and change for all of us. When the pandemic hit, at Abacus, we had top four priorities: to continue to serve our clients with the excellent service they deserve; keep our employees safe; continue to co-create value with our partners; and finally, take necessary steps to ensure continuity of our business while taking advantage of the opportunities presented by dynamically changing market needs.

I am delighted to share that we made strides on all fronts.

As we look back, in 2020, we witnessed our hard work and passion resulting in the achievement of several milestones — despite all challenges. I would like to personally thank all of our valued clients and partners for their continuous trust in us — we couldn’t have been where we are now without your tremendous endorsement. I would also like to thank our people for all the hard work and incredible levels of enthusiasm, ensuring that our clients and partners continue to get the best from us. We look forward to your continued support as together we move ahead!

2020 In a Review

Our work with our partner SAP continued with great momentum in 2020. We were recognized as the Best SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign Partner for EMEA South. Over the year, we have been helping businesses to navigate the ‘new normal’ through digital transformation.

Throughout the year, we worked across our regions to serve clients and help them grow with our extensive business transformation portfolio. Across the Middle East and North Africa, Cloud Transformations and the API Economy proved to be important subjects for our enterprise clients. We worked with the leading banks, public sector organizations, telecommunication services providers, and retailers, to design and implement “APIs-First” digital transformations. We helped one of the fastest-growing financial services providers in the United States deliver uninterrupted and high-quality customer services, even during the pandemic, through our delivery centers in Pakistan. In Iraq, we formed new strategic relationships with various enterprises throughout the year, and we have been busy enabling digital transformation with them. In the United Kingdom & Ireland, our focus has remained on unlocking new digital capabilities for customers through SAP-driven technology platforms.

To meet the growing demand for digital identity and access management, Abacus expanded its digital transformation portfoliowith a strategic alliance with Auth0, a global leader in the IAM space. We scaled up our SAP capabilities by teaming up with a global leader in data transformation: Schneider-Neureither & Partner SE (SNP Group), helping enterprises modernize their SAP landscapes.

And finally, we commenced our operations in North America with the opening of our new office in New York City. The expansion speaks to the significant global demand for digital transformation solutions delivered by Abacus.
